Bridge At War

Bridge At WarBridge At War by Trevor Hopkins

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another really good companion book to “New Bridge to Lyndesfarne” there are also 2 more to continue the story. This book takes you back to the end of WW2 and follows the lives of 3 ex servicemen who have just been demobbed from the army. If you’re wondering about all the fuss I’m making about these books then click on the link below (it will take you to the authors website) and download these books yourself after all they are free.

WordPress Power Guide – Using WordPress to Blog Your Way to Success – Blogging Guide

WordPress Power Guide – Using WordPress to Blog Your Way to Success – Blogging Guide by Lambert Klein

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Good and Knowledgeable author, certainly knows his WordPress. This book will show you all the steps needed to make your blog a success. Just one point and I don’t want to sound pedantic but (and this isn’t just this author) all the links are U.S. sites. If he could do a reprint using U.K. sites that would be great.
All in all a really good and informative book.

The Importance of Being EarnestThe Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Me read Oscar Wilde? Shock, horror I hear you say, but even a year go I would’ve agreed with you. but then I got a Kindle as a present and everything changed. Now I read the classics like they’re books that have never been published before.Anyway nuff said, about “The importance of being Earnest”, very funny mixed with a hint of caution about being someone you’re not.

New Site

Chances are the below post will be one of my last on here. I’m transferring over to another more fully functional WordPress.Org site, still with the same style reviews of books I’ve read and liked but with the added ability to buy books (of all kinds) not just fiction but textbooks and Kindle applications as well.

Hope you come over and take a look the URL is http:// http://www.jazabooks.co.uk

P.S. I’ll keep this site live for the time being all new reviews will go on the above site (see link on the left).
